The Political Turmoil....What lies Inside???...

The Political Situation in the Center is as interesting as an India-Pakistan Match in the Final Over with 6 runs to win in the last 2 balls with 1 wicket in hand...

One often thinks that what are actually our political leaders made off???...

Mulayam Singh says "There are no enemies in Politics"!!!!.....

His party, Samajwadi Party is thinking to give support to the UPA govt on the Nuke Deal Issue with the US. The same UPA govt which was formed in 2004 didn't even called Mr. Amar Singh for the UPA's Dinner Party of which SP was an outside supporter. I know that it sounds funny though but a Common Indian Man (The AAM AADMI) will never get to understand the Permutations and Combinations of the Indian Politics.

Lets Try to make the Picture more clearer for you guys....

2004 - UPA Govt formed with an outside support of the Left Parties with Congress being the single largest party in the Parliament

2005-2007
This period saw various clashes between the UPA and the Left Parties on issues like Pension Reforms, Disinvestment in the PSU's, Taxation Structure along with Issues of International importance like the Indo-US Nuke Deal Pact. If has always been felt that the Left Parties like CPI,CPI(M) and the Northern Block have acted as an opposition to the govt rather being a supporter to them!!...

2008 - This year the ties in between the UPA were to its bottom. The Left parties have been constantly opposing the Policies of UPA and that of Congress. There are differences between PMK and DMK in Tamil Nadu which is also affecting the govt @ Center. Over and above that the Inflation Problem creeping, Mr. P. Chidambaram is again on the target of the coalition parties as 2009 being a year of General Elections.

With the Left not doing that well in Kerela and West Bengal, they are also fearing from going into elections early but then also they don't miss the opportunity to threaten the UPA govt of withdrawing the support if the PM, Mr Manmohan Singh goes ahead with the Nuke Deal with the US.

This fact puzzles me a lot that since the last 2 years the Left has been constantly been criticizing the govt on various fronts and talking about withdrawal of their support but then too being constantly being with the UPA.

I guess they lack some amount of self respect and credibility has been decreased in the market of the Left Party Leaders like A.B. Bardhan, Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechuri after the turmoil that was created at Nandigram and Singur in West Bengal.

Anyhow, one also thinks that whats in there in the Nuke Deal that the Left Parties are opposing it with such a amount of belief and vigor.

Nuke Deal was signed by PM on his visit to the US in summer of 2006. This will help India in ensuring the regular supply of Uranium and other Technology relate to the Nuclear Power Generation resulting in the self sufficiency of India in its energy needs but at the same point of time binding the country to sign on CTBT and being under the surveillance of the US govt for not conducting any Nuclear Test in the future.

PM, Mr Manmohan Singh has been in favour of the deal as it will mark in the history of the India that a Doctorate in Economics from Oxford has been the father of the Nuclearisation of the Country and opened it to new technology to satisfy the ever growing energy needs of the country.

This has lead to the Political Turmoil which has resulted that the political leaders are trying to save their seat in place of taking some strong and effective measures to curb inflation and issues related to the deaths of farmers.

This is not new for the people of India but i feel that its high time that we should try to just get over all this and think of the betterment of the Country as a whole and concentrate on issues related to the national importance.

Parties like CPI & CPI(M) only know to protest and to go for a Bandh in West Bengal and Kerela. I don't think with the current scenario, anyone all over the country is going to be benefited out. Rather it is having negative impact on the economy and specially Share Markets have stumbled in the recent past due to this only.
